So this has been an insane journey. I started work on this in 2023 and we continue to add development work in daily. Literally hundreds (maybe thousands?) of hours have gone into this project. It is now very commonly streamed by large creators on major platforms. Thanks for checking it out!! And in advance for any contributors, it helps us to keep making new stuff for the challenge and eventually expand into other games.

| The goal is to win by locking every pokemon type and finishing a run without fainting. on your journey, you'll receive PRIZES to help you on your way and randomized CURSES will hinder your path. - It is a heavily modded version of FRLG using NatDex. Meaning every single pokemon ever created is a part of the challenge and in the game. - There are currently 30+ Curses and 100s of Prizes in the game (and we continue to add more!!!) - There is a scaling difficulty as you progress through your run. And THREE different ascensions (difficulties) to progress through. - ALL runs are "EVOLUTION RUNS" - where you start as a baby pokemon and finish >450BST. - There are ‘buy’ phases and ‘cleansing’ phases (described in rules) where you can exchange current items to upgrade them and/or win items to use on your quest for victory. - All rules are listed at http://roguemon.gg |
Disclaimers:
1) You will need Windows and Bizhawk 2.10 to play. Some people have set it up on SteamDeck/mac using VM's, support for that is in the discord.
2) You will need a vanilla FRLG 1.1 ROM. Do you own research how to acquire one.
3) It is built off the foundation of other open source community resources. Those are linked and credited within the Roguemon Discord.
4) There is a video on how to set it up linked in the Roguemon Discord. My mod team is available to help as well, if you have issues. Once you set up - you can update new patches from within the tracker/rom.
